There is not much that can top skydiving – BASE jumping can. Last year I was allowed to attend two (for me) memorable events: legal jumps from a chimney in Berlin and to be ground crew at the Frankfurt Skyscraper Days. In addition to achieving a world record with 10 buildings in 24 hours I guess all of the participants had the time of their lives.

Thank you guys – that video still makes my heartbeat go faster. Every time I am driving to downtown Frankfurt now – especialy at night – I see the skyline of the city in a completly different way.

I hiked the Kjerag which would be my first choice to jump of, only to figure out that my landing abilities do not (currently) match the small rocky landing area.

BASE Burj Khalifa

On January 5th, 2010 two Arabic BASE jumpers were the first to jump off the currently highest building on this planet: the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Video.
